What is DockerCon 2018?
DockerCon 2018 is a three day, Docker-centric conference that is organized by Docker, Inc. We will begin Monday afternoon with 3-hour paid workshops followed by the Welcome Reception in the Ecosystem Expo. The conference will take place Tuesday-Thursday. Building on the success of the previous events, DockerCon continues to grow to reflect Docker’s thriving ecosystem and container community. While we want to preserve the ambiance and simplicity of previous editions, this conference will be by far the largest DockerCon event to date.

Yes, your badge is required for entry into the conference and party. Please note that you will be asked for valid photo identification (valid
driver’s license, passport etc.) at the conference registration before you receive your badge.
Where do I pick up my badge?
Please pick up your badge at the DockerCon registration area at the Moscone West Conference Center. For security purposes, please be ready to show valid identification.
What are the substitution and cancellation policies for DockerCon 2018?
A 100% refund will be given if notice of cancellation is received in writing by the close of business on May 15, 2018. Cancellations received
after May 15 but before June 1 will receive a full refund minus a $250 processing fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after June 1, 2018. In the case of cancelling a registration for the purpose of signing up again under a special offer code, a $150 processing fee will be charged to the registration for this change. An employee of the same company may be substituted at no additional fee by end of day June 10, 2018. After June 10 no transfers will be allowed.
Can you help with a visa invitation letter?
In order to request a visa letter from the DockerCon team, please send an email to email@example.com and provide the following information:
- Full name on passport

- Place of birth
- Passport Number
- Place of issue
- Date of issue
- Date of expiration
- Are you a Government Official [Yes, No]
Visa invitation letters will be submitted for approval for those attendees that have requested a visa invite letter and have completed registration for a full conference pass including payment. We can only issue visa letters for fully paid attendees and you will need to allow 2-3 weeks’ time for your embassy to process your request. Visa letter request will not be accepted after June 1, 2018.
How do I book a hotel room for DockerCon 2018?
Docker has contracted discounted rates for hotels within easy walking distance of the Moscone Convention Center. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis and must be secured by May 18, 2018.

Anyone! While this program was originally targeted at the spouses of the conference attendees, now anyone traveling with a conference attendee is welcome to join us.
