Become a Docker Pal
We want to make sure you have a great time at DockerCon and take advantage of all of the amazing learning, collaborating and community that DockerCon has to offer. But let’s be real – it can be downright intimidating to attend a conference by yourself, much less figure out how to make the most of your experience! By participating in Docker Pals you will be introduced to other conference attendees and connected with a DockerCon veteran, giving you a built-in network before you arrive in San Francisco.
Docker Pals are matched with 3-4 other conference attendees and one Guide who knows their way around DockerCon. Guides help Pals figure out which talks, hands-on labs and hallway tracks to attend. Guides are a familiar face at the after-conference events and are new connections in the Docker community. Pals might be newer to DockerCon, or anyone looking to make friends and get more out of their week.
Pals and Guides will meet prior to the Tuesday Welcome Reception and will meet up at least once per day after that. You may use the designated Docker Pals Meeting Points or make your own plans. There will also be a Slack channel open to all Pals and Guides.
All of the energy, community, and fun of DockerCon in a beautiful city like San Francisco, with a few familiar faces as soon as you get there. Sounds amazing, right?
